Pooja Gandhi's Dandupalya facing hurdles for release

Pooja Gandhi's Dandupalya has been drawing the attention of the audience for its controversial content on the real life story of a gang of ruthless vampires. Especially, the film became the talk of the town after the actress went topless for an important scene in the upcoming Kannada movie. Now, these are becoming hurdles for its release.

A social group named Bahujan Samaj Horata Samiti is strongly opposing the release of Dandupalya claiming that the movie not only shows a woman in a bad taste but also the content of the film is highly objectionable. In fact, it has demanded the state government and the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce to ban the film, as the film pollutes the minds of the youth.

Adding to that several organisations have also opposed the title of the upcoming film and have written to the KFCC to change the title of the film. However, the makers of Dandupalya are adamant to change the title of the film.

Dandupalya is based on the real life incidents of notorious gang named Dandupalya – a name of a village situated on the Bangalore-Chennai National Highway four. They spread terror in and around Bangalore by slitting the throats of women and the aged and then robbing them.

Now, the actress has said that the script of Neethaane En Ponvasantham doesn't demand it. However, Samantha will be romancing Jeeva in the Tamil version, Nani in Telugu and Aditya Roy Kapoor in the Hindi version.

Salman Khan wants Kareena's Dabangg 2 item song to be different

Salman Khan is apparently doing all that it takes to ensure that Kareena Kapoor's item song in Dabangg 2 is completely different from her item number 'Yeh Mera Dil' from Don 2 with Shahrukh Khan playing the male lead in the film.

Salman Khan has reportedly made it clear that Dabangg 2 item number will feature him and Kareena Kapoor. As per sources, when somebody suggested the idea of a remix, Salman Khan dismissed the idea and made it clear that he does not want any remix of any old cabaret hit songs like 'Yeh Mera Dil'.
The buzz is that Salman Khan along with Dabangg 2 music directors, Sajid-Wajid sat together to compose a track that is catchy, rustic and very different from 'Munni badnaam hui' or 'Chikni chameli' or any other item numbers seen on screen until now.

Kareena Kapoor will apparently rehearse with choreographer Ganesh Hegde or Farah Khan for at least two weeks for the special item song in Dabangg 2.

Tapasya the Chikni Chameli of TV

The festivity surrounding Holi is not over yet as your favourite bahus - Anandi, Phulwa, Simar, Roli and Siddhi brighten this weekend with the annual Holi bash - Rang De Colors today at 1 pm and 5 pm on Colors.

The artists recreated Spain's La Tomatina festival and dunked each other in a tomato pit, living each moment a la the Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara cast. Bigg Boss fame Pooja Misrra tried escaping the gulaal being flung at her by BB4 housemates Amarr Upadhyay and Shraddha Sharma seemed adamant to not "spare her".

Tapasya flaunted her inner Katrina with her rendition of Chikni Chameli and Seema bhabhi (from Parichay) sizzled like Vidya to O la la. Simar and Prem painted a mural of Radha-Krishna with gulaal while swooning to the title track of Kisna. Jagya-Gauri swayed to some retro tracks. From drinking bhang to smashing eggs, all the artists let down their guards and doused each other in colours, water et al.
